Biosimulators: Sculptra & Radiesse Training is a focused course for licensed healthcare professionals who want to expand their knowledge of biostimulator treatments and regenerative aesthetic techniques.
The course covers patient selection, facial assessment, treatment planning, product characteristics, safety considerations, and hands-on training concepts for Sculptra® and Radiesse® procedures.
Attendees receive a Certificate of Training upon successful completion. Approved for up to 5.75 AAFP Prescribed credits. Continuing dental education is offered by MedAesthetics Training, LLC as a PACE-recognized provider.
Focused Biostimulator Training
This course introduces licensed healthcare professionals to core concepts in biostimulator treatments, including patient assessment, treatment planning, product selection, and procedural safety.

Designed for Experienced Providers
This course is intended for licensed healthcare professionals who already have foundational knowledge or experience with aesthetic injectables. Instruction focuses on biostimulator treatment planning, patient selection, facial assessment, safety considerations, and regenerative aesthetic concepts rather than introductory injection training.
Sculptra and Radiesse Education
The didactic portion provides an evidence-based review of key biostimulator concepts, including:
- Product characteristics and mechanisms of action
- Patient selection and contraindications
- Facial assessment and treatment planning
- Injection safety considerations and risk management
- Expected treatment progression and patient education
- Strategies for achieving balanced, natural-looking results
Instruction is presented in an educational format and is independent of commercial influence.
Hands-On Sculptra Training
Participants review practical considerations for biostimulator treatments, including facial assessment, treatment mapping, injection planning, and procedural workflow.
The hands-on portion of this course focuses on Sculptra®. Radiesse® concepts are reviewed through didactic education, treatment planning discussion, and safety considerations.
Training topics include:
- Sculptra® treatment planning and technique considerations

- Facial balancing and volume restoration concepts
- Safety, complication awareness, and post-treatment guidance
- Patient communication, expectations, and follow-up planning

Eligibility & Scope of Practice
Eligibility: This course is open to licensed healthcare professionals, including MD, DO, PA, NP, RN, DDS, and DMD.
Scope of Practice: This program provides education and training in biostimulator treatments and regenerative aesthetic procedures. Each participant is responsible for verifying with their respective state licensing board that these procedures fall within their scope of practice and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
Credit Information
This Live activity,Advanced Biostimulators in Aesthetic Medicine, from 7/01/2026 – 06/30/2027, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 5.75 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed credit, not as Category 1.
