Facial Analysis, Microdermabrasion & Chemical Peels Training is a one-day course for estheticians and licensed healthcare professionals who want focused training in skin analysis, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and treatment planning.

The course combines didactic education with hands-on training focused on facial evaluation, treatment selection, equipment use, peel application, contraindications, protocols, and pre- and post-treatment care.

Attendees receive a Certificate of Training upon successful completion.

Focused Skin Treatment Training

This one-day course introduces participants to facial analysis, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and treatment planning in a small-group training environment.

Participants will:

  • Review skin analysis and client evaluation techniques
  • Learn treatment selection for microdermabrasion and chemical peels
  • Discuss contraindications, protocols, safety considerations, and aftercare
  • Practice hands-on facial evaluation, microdermabrasion, and chemical peel application

Didactic Skin Care Education

The didactic portion provides an educational review of key skin care treatment concepts, including:

  • Indications, contraindications, and safety considerations

Hands-On Clinical Training

During the hands-on portion of the course, participants gain supervised experience consulting with models, analyzing facial skin, selecting treatment approaches, and performing microdermabrasion and chemical peel procedures.

Participants will review history and consent forms, conduct client evaluations, and practice treatment protocols using professional products and equipment. Models, products, and supplies are provided by MedAesthetics during the hands-on training session.

Eligibility & Scope of Practice

Eligibility: This course is open to estheticians and licensed healthcare professionals, including MD, DO, PA, NP, RN, DDS, and DMD.

Scope of Practice: This program provides education and hands-on training in facial analysis, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and related skin care treatment procedures. Each participant is responsible for verifying with their respective state licensing board or regulatory authority that these procedures fall within their scope of practice and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
