Can I order Botulinum Toxin and dermal filler products after training?

The ability to order Botulinum Toxin and dermal filler products after completing training is determined by your state’s regulations and prescribing authority. In most states, ordering pharmaceutical products such as injectables requires that you have the legal prescribing authority to do so. This means that, depending on your state’s medical regulations, you need to be a licensed physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant or dentist, with the appropriate scope of practice and prescribing privileges.

State regulations vary significantly, so it’s essential to verify whether you are eligible to order these products based on your licensure and the scope of practice defined by your state’s medical board or licensing authority. Some states may allow certain licensed professionals to order injectables, while others may have more restrictive rules that only permit specific healthcare providers to do so.

Prior to our training, we highly recommend that you review your state’s guidelines to ensure compliance with all local regulations. You may also want to reach out to your state’s medical board or licensing authority for clarification on your eligibility to purchase and administer these products legally.

For further assistance in understanding your state’s regulations, feel free to contact us—we are happy to provide guidance and resources to help you navigate the process.
