Meet your patients demands with Kybella® Training
July 29, 2016As Allergan begins introducing several programs to drive consumer demand, now is the time to receive Kybella® training to meet your patient’s needs. A 2015 survey by the Society for Dermatologic Surgery shows 67% of consumers are bothered by submental fullness (double chin). Submental fullness effects both men and women due to aging, genetics and/or weight gain. Approved by the FDA in 2015, Kybella® is the first and only injectable treatment for moderate to severe submental fullness. Adding Kybella® to your menu of services will ensure you are meeting all of your patient’s non-surgical aesthetic needs.
Kybella® Training
We offer Kybella® training to Physicians (MD & DO), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Registered Nurses (RN) and Physician Assistants (PA). Receive the training as part of our Advanced Injectable Course or during a customized in-house training. During the Kybella® training you will learn the ideal submental profile, the characteristics of submental fullness and how to customize this procedure to your patients’ aesthetic goals. Utilizing Allergan’s E.A.S.I. process you will learn the proper dosing and administration techniques. This includes evaluating and identifying the appropriate Kybella® client, following the pre-treatment regimen, how to apply the treatment markings and grid, preparing syringes and selecting the correct Kybella® dosage amount, performing Kybella® injections and following post-treatment recommendations.
We will also discuss strategies to identify appropriate Kybella® patients and how to maximize the opportunity this procedure holds. After the Kybella® Training you will have access to a professional Confidential Health Questionaire, Injectable Worksheet, Consent Forms and a Guide to Care with pre & post instructions for Kybella®.
In addition, all relevant information is covered to guide you to the next step of the Kybella® ordering process. After receiving training, be sure to utilize Allergan’s Brand Box for staff training materials, an in-office video and sample emails introducing Kybella® to your patients.
