Question and Answer Session
What drew you to aesthetics and why is it your passion?
I have always had a deep love for sewing, design, decorating, watercolor and crafts. After working as a women’s health nurse practitioner for 10 years, I was able to bring my passion for art and all things beautiful, together with my desire to serve women. The greatest reward is seeing the joy and self confidence restored in guests that I have the privilege of treating.
What is your favorite thing about instructing?
My favorite thing about being an instructor is seeing my passion for aesthetics ignite in my students!
What is your favorite injectable product?
My favorite product is Voluma.
Is there a supply item that you HAVE to have?
A smile on my face AS I am treating a guest is my most important asset… and it doesn’t have to be ordered, stocked or ever run out!
What are your top 3 methods to minimize risk and optimize your patient results?
- Most importantly is educating my guests thoroughly prior to treatment
- Inject SLOWLY with a healthy fear of possible risk
- Always request a follow up with guests before they leave from their treatment
If you could give one piece of advise to someone just starting in aesthetics, what would it be?
Don’t pursue aesthetics for financial gain, pursue it because it’s your passion.
