Juvederm Vollure™ XC injectable gel is the latest hylauronic acid dermal filler to hit the market and is now available for purchase through Allergan.
Vycross® Technology
Vollure™ XC is manufactured using Vycross® technology, the same technology used to create Voluma® XC and Volbella® XC. Vycross® technology describes the unique cross linking of high and low weight hyaluronic acid molecules. This combination results in a low cohesivity and highly elastic gel, restoring volume in a natural looking way. The Vycross® technology also results in less possible swelling and has a longer duration period.
Voluma® XC, Volbella® XC and Vollure™ XC
Voluma® XC contains the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid, giving it that lift that is beneficial to cheek enhancements. Volbella® XC has the lowest concentration of hyaluronic acid, making it specifically tailored to be a soft, smooth gel suitable for lips and perioral lines. Vollure™ XC has a combination of hyaluronic acid that is in-between these Voluma and Volbella, so can be used for moderate to severe wrinkles & folds such as marionette lines and nasolabial folds.
