Botox, Botulinum Toxin & Dermal Filler Training | Level I is a one-day course for licensed healthcare professionals who are beginning or expanding their training in aesthetic injectables.
The course combines foundational didactic education with hands-on training focused on facial anatomy, patient assessment, treatment planning, injection technique, and safety considerations for botulinum toxin and dermal filler procedures.
Attendees receive a Certificate of Training upon successful completion. Approved for up to 9.75 AAFP Prescribed credits. Continuing dental education is offered by MedAesthetics Training, LLC as a PACE-recognized provider.
This foundational course is limited to a maximum of 8 participants to allow for personalized instruction, supervised practice, and direct instructor feedback throughout the day.

This course introduces current botulinum toxin products, including Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, Daxxify®, and Letybo®.
Participants will also review dermal filler injection techniques using FDA-approved products such as Juvederm®, Restylane®, RHA®, Versa®, Belotero®, and Evolysse® products.

Botox® is one specific brand of botulinum toxin type A. This course includes Botox training as part of a broader review of botulinum toxin products currently used in aesthetic medicine, including Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, Daxxify®, and Letybo®.

Eligibility: This course is open to licensed healthcare professionals, including MD, DO, PA, NP, RN, DDS, and DMD.
Scope of Practice: This program provides foundational education and training in aesthetic injectable procedures. Each participant is responsible for verifying with their respective state licensing board that these procedures fall within their scope of practice and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

This Live activity, Basic Botulinum Toxin-A and Dermal Filler Training, from 04/01/2026 – 03/31/2027, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 9.75 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed credit, not as Category 1.
