This Connecticut-specific botulinum toxin and dermal filler training program is designed for licensed dentists seeking in-person, hands-on cosmetic injection education under Connecticut Public Act No. 26-13, effective October 1, 2026.
Participants progress through our Learn → Practice → Perform → Evaluate model, combining online preparation, live classroom instruction, guided facial manikin practice during the didactic portion of the course, and hands-on training with live models.
Each dentist is required to bring one appropriate model for the hands-on portion of the course. MedAesthetics Training may also provide models, and participants who are unable to bring a model should contact us before registering so we can help coordinate options.
In addition to focusing on injection technique, the curriculum emphasizes patient assessment, facial anatomy, clinical decision-making, documentation, complication prevention, and Connecticut-specific scope considerations to help participants build confidence while prioritizing patient safety.

Connecticut DPH has confirmed that MedAesthetics Training meets the training-provider requirement of Section 34 of Public Act No. 26-13.
Beginning October 1, 2026, Section 34 of Connecticut Public Act 26-13 permits a Connecticut-licensed dentist to administer cosmetic facial injections after successfully completing in-person, hands-on training administered by a qualifying continuing education provider or program and maintaining professional liability insurance covering cosmetic injection procedures.
The Act restricts certain periocular and upper-face cosmetic injection sites and prohibits dentists from delegating cosmetic injections to dental hygienists, dental assistants, or other auxiliary personnel.
Completion of this course does not replace each dentist’s responsibility to confirm personal eligibility, professional liability coverage, and compliance with all applicable Connecticut laws, regulations, documentation requirements, and professional standards.

No. These areas may be discussed for anatomy, facial balance, muscle interaction, treatment planning, risk awareness, and patient safety, but they are not included as hands-on injection areas during the Connecticut dentist course.
What dermal filler areas are covered for Connecticut dentists?
The course includes Connecticut-focused dermal filler education for areas such as the lips, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, chin, and cheek or midface region when the primary intended treatment site is the cheek or midface and the injection site remains inferior to the infraorbital rim.
